Content Specialist

To succeed in this role, we expect you to be an excellent copywriter, communicator, and problem solver, with an eye for detail. You are highly creative and passionate about writing, storytelling, and communicating a brand’s essence through the written word. You maintain a high bar for style, humor, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. You also love to research, enjoy learning new things and apply that knowledge because good writers must be chameleons.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Produce written brand-centric content for our clients’ multichannel strategies (B2B and B2C) to drive audiences to take action. Include but not limited to:
    • Digital and Traditional Advertising
    • Social Media
    • Long-form and short-form written content
    • Website Content
  • Collaborate with agency teams on strategy and concepts to ensure alignment with our client’s brand visions
  • Aide in the development of the content/written components of a brand
  • Develop a strategy and a corresponding content calendar that aligns with the client’s position, growth strategy, and goals
  • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of each client's brand voice, personality, messaging framework, and other foundational brand elements
  • Constantly monitor the market and competitive landscape to stay current on industry trends and competitive movements
  • Possess knowledge of current SEO best practices and know how to implement them in the written content produced
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our client’s content and recommend new topics based on customer feedback


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English/Journalism, or related field, including public relations, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience developing engaging and strategic content across multiple channels
  • 3+ years of leading content strategy
  • Proven ability to follow established brand standards and maintain brand continuity
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience with storytelling
  • High level of creativity, and demonstrated ability to generate concepts and ideas
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to take direction well
  • Learn and follow internal processes
  • Deadline-oriented, being able to manage deadlines both with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Experience conducting research using multiple sources is a plus
  • Proficient at adapting style and content for the intended audience
  • Perform well under pressure, accept responsibility for one’s own actions and contribute to a professional company image in the workplace and at client meetings
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Intermediate skill level of MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
